You are at the center of our designs

Many university faculty have a production orientation and try to leverage on what they teach in Bachelor classes while offering this knowledge as a corner stone around every program they design. Our approach is different: we look at manifest or hidden needs in your corporation and design programs with impact for distinct target groups. The professors expertise in a special field comes in later, when the needs of the corporation/target group are clearly identified. We believe that a high degree of customization substantially increases the value of a program for you, including the participants’ ability to link their learning sustainably to their daily jobs.

We design custom program around your needs and vary focus, length and structure upon the requirements of the target group and the desired impact. Nevertheless all our programs share an integrative perspective, including often management and law as well as sociological and ethical/theological aspects, which draw on a strong tradition in Lucerne since 1576. We believe true innovation and creative solutions are born very often along the intersection of existing disciplines.  We therfore focus on an early identification with an  integrative perspective of the business challenges while using lateral and interdisciplinary thinking through several integrative techinques and methods like action learning, integrative cases studies, multidisciplinary faculty and semantic models. Next to traditional teaching simulations as well as case studys and live site visits shape a rich learning experience.

Our faculty has run business units and companies themselves including entrepreneurial experiences and continuously interacts with the corporate world. This leads to a deep understanding of clients’ problems based on a multitude of successful projects and experience. Our professors have long-standing records not only as excellent researchers but also as entrepreneurs, consultants, board members and lecturers in executive education. Therefore they have an intuitive understanding of the most pressing challenges companies face today and support businesses in overcoming those difficulties.
